A: It takes about two weeks, plus shipping time, to get your purse. During very busy times it may take a little longer. I will let you know if this will be an issue. Give plenty of lead-time around holidays.
Q: I want some changes made to the basic style of a purse. How do I do this?
A: Just contact me before your purchase and we will discuss your needs. Be aware that there may be an additional charge, depending on the changes. I will tell you what that is before purchasing.
Q: I don’t like any of the fabrics shown on the site, but still want one of the purses. How can I see other fabrics?
A: Contact me and we can discuss what you are looking for. I can email photos of fabrics or possibly small fabric swatches. There will be a $10 fee for this custom search since it takes quite a bit of my time to do this. You will receive a separate Paypal invoice for this search. You can also provide your own fabric and mail it to me. The price of the purse will be discounted in this case. Also, I change the fabrics available periodically and as they are used.
Q: How do I clean my purse?
A: Use a mild soap and warm water. I prefer hand-washing rather than machine. Air dry in shape. You can iron the purse if necessary after it is dry. REMOVE the bottom support piece inside the purse, if there is one, BEFORE washing!
Q: What is your shipping method?
A: I use USPS Priority Mail with confirmation. This can be changed, so if you prefer First Class (cheaper) or overnight mail let me know at the time of purchase. You will be responsible for any additional costs, including purchase of insurance.
Q: I received my purse and it isn’t what I expected. Can I return it?
A: The nature of custom work is that it is specifically made for you. Therefore, be sure that you want to purchase this purse. If you have ANY questions, please contact me BEFORE purchase. READY-MADE purses may be returned within the first 30 days.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: I will gladly offer credit towards another purse if your purchase is damaged upon receiving it. Just send back to me the damaged purse (I will pay shipping). If a purse is lost in the mail, the cost will not be refunded. I strongly recommend purchasing insurance against shipment loss. READY-MADE purses may be returned within the first 30 days.
Q: How do I pay for my purchase?
A: I only accept PayPal. If you do not have a Paypal account, I will invoice you through Paypal and you can pay using your credit card. I do not have access to your account number.
Q: Are your purses at your Etsy Shop the same as on this site?
A: Generally, yes. However, I am always creating new designs and placing newly made purses in my Etsy Shop and Amazon shops. I change the styles available here periodically that reflect my new creations. Check back frequently or visit my Etsy Shop and Amazon shops for the latest in ready-made purses.
Q: What do I do if my purse needs to be repaired?
A: Your purse is made plenty strong for normal use. However, I will gladly repair fixables for no charge for the first 3 months that you own your purse. After that, there will be a charge. Email me to discuss the situation.
Q: When is the deadline for Christmas orders?
A: Orders must be received by NOVEMBER 1 to guarantee delivery on time for Christmas
